GATE 2026 Application Form revised dates have been announced by the IIT Guwahati. According to the previous schedule, the application process for GATE 2026 was to commence today, i.e., August 25, 2025. But, according to the revised schedule released by the authority, the application process will now commence on August 28, 2025.

How to Access the GATE 2026 Application Form?
The candidates appearing for the GATE 2026 Exam have to wait a couple more days for the commencement of the application process. The candidates will be able to register for the GATE 2026 till October 9, 2025, by paying the payment of late fee.
The candidate can follow the steps mentioned below to access the GATE 2026 Application Form:
- The appearing candidate must visit the official website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
- Now, the appearing candidate is supposed to click on the ‘GATE 2026 Application’ link available on the website.
- Then, candidates are required to create their login credentials for future use.
- Now, the candidates are supposed to log in again with the created credentials.
- Then, the GATE 2026 application form will be displayed on the screen.
- Next, candidates must fill out their application form with their personal and academic details.
- After making the payment for the GATE 2026 application fee, click 'Submit'.
- The candidate must download their application confirmation slip for future reference.
