IIT Guwahati has activated the GATE 2026 application form correction window. Registered candidates can visit the GOAPS portal at gate2026.iitg.ac.in to make necessary edits in their GATE registration form 2026. The last date to submit corrections is November 3, 2025.
Candidates are advised to use their enrollment ID and password to log in and make changes before the deadline. The correction facility allows candidates to update details that were incorrectly entered during registration.
What Can Be Edited in GATE 2026 Application Form?
The rectification window allows candidates to make the following changes:
- Name
- Date of Birth (DOB)
- Choice of examination cities
- Change of existing paper
- Gender
- Category
- PwD/Dyslexic status
Changes in category, gender, or PwD status now attract a higher correction fee compared to last year.

- Login using credentials
- Select the particulars to edit
- Make the changes and pay the applicable fees

GATE 2026 Exam Dates
The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two shifts. The admit card will be released on January 2, 2026, as per the official notification.
