The correction facility allows candidates to modify details such as name, date of birth, exam city, gender, category, and choice of paper. The correction process also includes a revised fee structure this year, with a ₹100 hike for certain categories like gender, category, and PwD status modifications.

Steps to Edit GATE 2026 Application Form

1. Visit the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
2. Click on the GOAPS portal link.
3. Log in using the registered Enrollment ID and Password.
4. Select the field(s) you want to modify.
5. Make the necessary changes.
6. Pay the correction fee (if applicable).
7. Submit and download the revised application form.
