How to Fill Out the GATE 2026 Application?

The candidate can access the GATE 2026 Application Portal by following the instructions mentioned below:

  • The candidate can access the application portal by visiting the official website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
  • After that, the candidate must click on the tab named ‘Application Portal’.
  • Then, the candidate is required to create their GOAPS login credentials and log in with those credentials.
  • The GATE application form will be opened on the screen. Complete the application form with the required information.

The candidate may face several issues while filling out their GATE 2026 application form. Here are the tips related to those issues:

  • Candidates may face server issues due to the heavy traffic. So, candidates are advised to be patient while filling out their application form.
  • If the candidate has already made the payment of the application fee, and the amount has been deducted from their account. But still, it’s showing payment denied, and then the candidate is advised to wait for the next 24 hours for a refund.
  • Candidates are advised to upload documents in the required form, and the size of the file must lie between the given specifications.
  • While logging in, if the candidate forgets the password, then the candidate must click on forget password and then the OTP will be delivered to the registered mobile number for verification.
