The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati will close the GATE 2026 answer key challenge window today, February 28. Candidates who appeared for the examination on February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026 must submit their objections through the GOAPS portal before the deadline. After reviewing the challenges, authorities will publish the final answer key at the official website.
How to Challenge GATE 2026 Answer Key?
Candidates can follow the steps below to raise objections:
- Visit the official GATE 2026 website
- Log in using enrollment ID and password
- Click on the GATE 2026 answer key link
- Select the respective paper
- Click on “Raise Objection”
- Enter the question ID as per the response sheet
- Upload supporting documents, if required
- Pay the objection fee and submit
GATE 2026 Objection Fee
The objection fee is INR 500 per question. The fee is non-refundable. Candidates may challenge multiple questions by paying the required amount for each question.
GATE 2026 Result Date
IIT Guwahati will declare the GATE 2026 result on March 19, 2026. Candidates will be able to check their results through GOAPS login using enrollment ID and password. The GATE 2026 scorecard will be available for download from March 27, 2026, onwards at the candidate portal. Applicants are advised to complete the objection process within the stipulated time, as no requests will be accepted after the deadline.
