The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) is expected to activate the GATE 2026 answer key challenge window shortly on the official candidate portal. Candidates who appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 will be able to raise objections against the provisional answer key once the link goes live. GATE 2026 Answer Key Challenge Fees
The GATE 2026 objection fee is expected to be ₹500 per question, as per last year’s guidelines. Candidates may challenge multiple questions by paying the applicable fee for each.

What Happens After GATE 2026 Objection Submission?

The final answer key cannot be challenged, and the GATE 2026 result will be prepared strictly based on it. Results are scheduled to be announced on March 19, 2026.
