GATE 2026 Admit Card Date Soon; Exam Scheduled on 07, 08, 14 February

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is expected to announce the GATE 2026 admit card shortly. Only candidates whose application status is marked as accepted will be able to access the hall ticket through the candidate login portal. The GATE 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on 07 February 2026, 08 February 2026, 14 February 2026, and 15 February 2026. The exam will be held in 2 shifts on each day.

 

GATE 2026 Admit Card Release Timeline

As per previous trends, the GATE admit card 2026 is expected to be issued in the 1st week of January 2026. Candidates are advised to regularly check updates related to the hall ticket release. The admit card will mention exam date, shift timing, test centre details and important instructions for the examination day.

 

Steps to Download GATE 2026 Admit Card

Candidates can follow the steps below to access the GATE 2026 hall ticket:

  • Access the GATE candidate portal
  • Select the login option
  • Enter enrollment ID and password
  • View the admit card on the screen
  • Verify all details and download the file

Candidates should download the admit card as soon as it is available to avoid last-minute issues.

After downloading the admit card, candidates must verify the following details:

  • Candidate name
  • Enrollment ID
  • Exam date and shift
  • Test centre address
  • Photograph and signature

Any discrepancy should be reported immediately for correction before the examination date.

 

How to Check GATE 2026 Application Status?

Candidates can check their application status by following the steps below:

  • Open the candidate login section
  • Enter enrollment ID and password
  • View the application status on the dashboard
  • Log out after verification

Only candidates with accepted application status will be allowed to appear for the examination.

 

GATE 2026 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates appearing for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering must report to the exam centre at least 1 hour before the scheduled exam time. The following items must be carried:

  • GATE 2026 admit card
  • Valid photo identity proof
  • Pen or pencil
  • Transparent water bottle
