The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has invited online applications for the 11th Food Analyst Examination (FAE) 2025. Eligible candidates with relevant science qualifications and required work experience can apply for the examination. The last date to submit the online application form is 22 January 2026. The Food Analyst Examination 2025 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on 08 March 2026.
Educational Qualification Required for FSSAI FAE 2025
Candidates applying for the Food Analyst Examination 2025 must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, Agriculture Science, Animal Science, Fisheries Science, Biotechnology, Food Safety, Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, Dairy Technology, Oil Technology or Veterinary Sciences. The degree must be obtained from a university established in India by law or from an institution recognised by the Institution of Chemists (India) through examination in the Food Analyst section.
FSSAI Food Analyst Eligibility Criteria 2025
Online applications are invited from candidates who possess the prescribed educational qualification along with 3 years of relevant work experience. The experience requirement must be in accordance with sub-rule (ii) of Rule 2.1.4 of the Food Safety and Standards (First Amendment) Rules, 2022.
FSSAI Food Analyst Age Limit 2025
There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing in the 11th Food Analyst Examination 2025. Eligible candidates of any age group can apply, provided all other criteria are fulfilled.
FSSAI Food Analyst Examination 2025 Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay the following fees while submitting the application form:
- The Computer Based Test fee is ₹2500.
- The practical examination fee is ₹5000 plus applicable GST.
The application fee must be paid through online mode only and is non-refundable under any circumstances.
