Four Indian B-Schools in LinkedIn Global Top-20 MBA 2025

Four Indian management institutes have secured positions among the global top twenty MBA programs in LinkedIn’s 2025 rankings, reflecting the strong international recognition of Indian B-schools. The Indian School of Business (ISB) has entered the top five globally, while IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad, and IIM Bangalore also featured in the list.

 

Indian B-Schools in LinkedIn 2025 Global MBA Rankings

LinkedIn’s rankings are based on alumni career outcomes, job titles, role transitions, and skill development, rather than peer surveys or faculty metrics. The list highlights institutions that significantly impact graduates’ career growth on the LinkedIn platform.

  • Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad — ranked 5th globally, up from sixth last year. Tuition fees for the 2026–27 academic year are ₹19.3 lakh. Common roles for alumni include Product Manager, Program Manager, and Management Consultant.
  • IIM Calcutta — ranked 16th globally. The programme fee for 2025–26 was ₹33.5 lakh. Alumni frequently take up roles as Product Manager, Business Analyst, and Management Analyst.
  • IIM Ahmedabad — ranked 17th globally. Tuition fees for the 2026 graduating batch are ₹26.5 lakh. Popular job roles include Product Manager, Sales Manager, and Program Manager.
  • IIM Bangalore — ranked 20th globally. Tuition for the 2027 batch is ₹26.5 lakh. Alumni commonly work as Product Manager, Program Manager, and Business Analyst.

Other Indian institutes such as IIM Lucknow and IIM Indore were also included in the overall top 100 global list, demonstrating India’s growing influence in management education worldwide.

 

Global MBA Rankings Overview

On the international front, Stanford University retained the top spot, followed by Harvard University (2), INSEAD (3), and the University of Pennsylvania (4). The rankings underline the importance of career outcomes and networking for MBA aspirants.
