FMGE December 2025 Exam Scheduled on 17 January; Shift Timings

The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination for the December 2025 session is scheduled to be conducted on 17 January 2026. The examination will take place at designated centres nationwide for candidates seeking medical registration in India. The admit card for the examination was released earlier, and carrying the hall ticket to the exam centre is mandatory for all candidates.

 

FMGE December 2025 Exam Schedule and Shift Timings

The examination will be conducted in two parts on the same day. Candidates must carefully note the reporting and entry timings for their respective sessions, as late entry will not be permitted under any circumstances. For Part A, the examination will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Entry to the examination centre will begin at 7:00 AM, while the last entry will be allowed until 8:30 AM. Login access for candidates will be enabled at 8:45 AM. For Part B, entry to the centre will start at 12:00 PM, and the examination will conclude at 4:30 PM. Candidates are advised to strictly follow the allotted timings mentioned on their admit cards.

 

FMGE Admit Card Requirement for Exam Day

The admit card issued for the December 2025 session is a compulsory document for entry into the examination hall. Candidates without a valid admit card will not be allowed to appear for the examination. Along with the hall ticket, candidates must carry a valid original photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving Licence. The details on the admit card should be verified in advance to avoid last-minute issues.

 

FMGE Exam Day Guidelines and Security Instructions

Candidates will undergo multiple levels of security checks at the examination centre. This includes frisking using metal detectors and biometric verification before entry. Only essential items are permitted inside the exam hall. Candidates may carry a transparent water bottle and exam-related documents. Items such as electronic gadgets, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, earphones, wallets, handbags, belts, caps, and food items are strictly prohibited. Candidates are strongly advised to reach the exam centre well before the reporting time to complete verification formalities smoothly and avoid disqualification due to late arrival.
