The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will manage the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2026 application process, enabling foreign medical graduates to obtain registration to practice in India. Eligibility Criteria for FMGE 2026

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold an MBBS degree or equivalent from a recognized foreign medical institution.
  • Complete the primary medical qualification before the official cut-off date.
  • Be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).

 

Documents Required for FMGE 2026 Application

Candidates must prepare the following documents for upload:

  • Recent photograph
  • Signature
  • Left thumb impression
  • Proof of birth
  • Primary medical qualification certificate
  • Eligibility certificate
  • Passport
  • Valid photo ID

 

Steps to Apply for FMGE 2026

  1. Registration – Create a User ID and Password on natboard.edu.in.
  2. Login and Fill Form – Enter personal, educational, and contact details accurately.
  3. Upload Documents – Upload all required documents in the prescribed format.
  4. Pay Fee – Pay INR 7,080 online using debit/credit card or net banking.
  5. Submit and Print – Submit the form and print the confirmation page for future reference.

 

FMGE 2026 Application Correction Window

The NBEMS provides a short window to correct minor mistakes after submission. Candidates cannot change name, nationality, mobile number, or email ID during this period.
