The Tier 2 examinations under the EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE) 2025 will be conducted between 22 March 2026 and 25 March 2026 in multiple shifts. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 7,267 teaching and non-teaching vacancies across Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) located nationwide. Candidates who qualified the Tier 1 examination, the results of which were declared in January 2026, are eligible to appear for the Tier 2 stage.

EMRS Tier 2 Admit Card 2026 and Exam Guidelines
The EMRS Tier 2 admit card 2026 and exam city intimation slip will be released a few days before the commencement of the examination. Candidates must download and print the admit card from the official recruitment portal once released. Entry to the examination centre will be permitted only on production of the printed admit card along with a valid photo identity proof. Candidates failing to meet these requirements will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
EMRS Selection Process After Tier 2
The Tier 2 examination is designed to assess subject knowledge, professional competence, and role-specific skills for both teaching and non-teaching posts. After the evaluation of Tier 2 answer scripts, shortlisted candidates may be called for further stages such as document verification or skill tests, as applicable.
