The Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) Tier‑II examination dates for Non‑Teaching and Teaching posts under the ESSE‑2025 recruitment drive have been announced by the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS). The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) has officially released the EMRS Non‑Teaching Tier 2 Exam Date 2026 as part of the EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE) 2025 recruitment process for 7,267 teaching and non‑teaching positions across Eklavya Model Residential Schools. Candidates who qualified in the Tier‑I examination — whose results were declared at the end of January 2026 — are eligible to appear for the Tier‑II stage of the recruitment process.

The Tier‑II examination will be conducted in multiple forenoon and afternoon sessions between 22 March and 25 March 2026 as per the official notification.

 

EMRS Tier‑II Exam 2026 – Non‑Teaching Post Schedule

  • Accountant: 23 March 2026 — Afternoon (
  • Hostel Warden: 24 March 2026 — Forenoon
  • Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): 24 March 2026 — Afternoon
  • Lab Attendant: 25 March 2026 — Forenoon

Candidates must check their specific post‑wise schedule and exam session in the official Tier‑II notification or their application portal login.

 

EMRS Tier 2 Exam Preparation and Eligibility

Only candidates who successfully passed the Tier‑I examination are eligible for Tier‑II testing. The Tier‑II stage generally assesses candidates’ subject knowledge and role‑specific skills for administrative and technical positions. Candidates are advised to begin their final preparation immediately, focusing on subjects and competencies relevant to their applied posts.

 

EMRS Tier 2 Admit Card and City Slip Information

The EMRS Tier‑II admit cards (call letters) and exam city slips will be issued a few days before the exam dates on the official EMRS recruitment portal. Candidates should download and print these documents ahead of the Tier‑II exam window. Entry to the exam centre will be strictly permitted only with the printed admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

 

Next Steps After Tier‑II

Following the Tier‑II examination, EMRS authorities will proceed with the evaluation process, and shortlisted candidates may be called for subsequent stages such as document verification or skill tests as per the recruitment notification guidelines.
