Overall 3,115 posts are vacant across various units under the Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025 initiative. As per the official notification, the RRC ER Application Process 2025 is all set to begin from August 14, 2025 to September 13, 2025. Before applying for the Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025, candidates must ensure that they are eligible. Check the following points for the basic eligibility criteria-
- Candidates applying for these positions must have passed the Class 10 examination or its equivalent under the 10+2 examination system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
- In addition, they must possess a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
- The age limit for applicants is 15 to 24 years as on the date specified in the official guidelines.

Candidates will be purely selected on the basis of their merit. Moreover, there will be no written test or interview for selection. However, a centralised merit list will be prepared based on the average percentageof marks obtained by the applicants in their Class 10 exam and ITI trade certificate.

The application process for Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025 will begin on August 14, 2025. The last date of the application process is September 13, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment drive with a fee payment of INR 100 (general, OBC, & EWS category). Candidates from SC, ST, PwBD and all women candidates are eligible to apply free of any application fee. The fees are required to be paid online via Debit Card/ Credit Card/ or Net Banking.
