Delhi University has launched the third phase of UGs admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the academic session 2025–26. This round offers new opportunities for mid-entry applicants, seat upgrades, and candidates under special categories like CW (Children/Widows of Armed Forces Personnel), ECA (Extracurricular Activities), Sports, and Ward Quota.
DU UG Admission 2025, Seat Upgrade and Preference Reorder Window Now Open
Students already selected through Round 1 or Round 2 can now choose to upgrade to a more suitable programme-college combination. The upgrade and preference rearrangement window is going to open at 5 PM on August 2 (Saturday) and will close at 4:59 PM on August 3 (Sunday).
During this time, candidates can:
- Opt-in for seat upgrades
- Reorder their programme-college preferences based on availability
- Modify selections in response to newly available seats
Once the window closes, colleges will begin activating new seat assignments based on updated preferences.
DU UG Admission 2025: Mid-Entry Window from August 8
Delhi University will also open a mid-entry application window for students who:
- Missed Phase 1 of CSAS
- Could not complete Phase 2
- Students had their applications rejected because of the subject mismapping, ineligibility, or invalid documents.

These applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹1,000 to rejoin the CSAS process. They will also have the option to:
- Correct subject mapping errors
- Modify or reorder programme-college preferences
Applications submitted by 5 PM on August 10 will be considered for future allocation rounds. Candidates are advised to consult the vacant seat matrix before finalising their preferences.
DU UG Admission 2025, Seat Acceptance and Fee Payment Deadline
Once students have accepted the seat in Round 3, they will be required to accept their seats between August 13 and August 17 (Wednesday to Sunday). During this window, colleges will review and approve the applications.
Final fee payment deadline:
- Date: August 19 (Tuesday)
- Time: Up to 4:59 PM
Failure to complete the fee payment by the given deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
