Dhaka University held the Fine Arts Unit admission test for the 2025–26 academic year on Saturday. The test assessed candidates through general knowledge and drawing-based components, which are used to evaluate their creative aptitude for the undergraduate programme.
The Fine Arts Unit exam recorded a strong turnout. A total of 6,521 applicants appeared for the test. With only 130 seatsavailable, the competition remained intense from early morning across the assigned venues, including the Fine Arts Faculty Centre.
High Turnout and Strict Supervision
The university arranged the admission test across several centres to ensure a smooth process. Officials monitored the entire procedure to maintain fairness and discipline throughout the exam hours. Students reached the centres early and followed the guidelines provided by the university for the entrance test.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmed Khan visited the centres to observe the arrangements. He reviewed the exam environment, interacted with officials and ensured that all procedures were being followed without disruption.
