DU Admission 2026: One-Year PG Registration Begins, UG Choice Filling Ends July 11

The University of Delhi has started the registration process for its new one-year postgraduate programmes and M.Sc. in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (PMBB) for the 2026-27 academic session. Meanwhile, candidates applying for undergraduate programmes through CSAS UG 2026 can submit their programme and college preferences until July 11, 2026.
Delhi University (DU) has commenced the admission process for its newly introduced one-year postgraduate (PG) programmes and the two-year M.Sc. in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (PMBB) course for the 2026-27 academic session. At the same time, the university has reminded undergraduate aspirants that the CSAS UG 2026 preference-filling window will remain open only until July 11, 2026. The latest admission schedule also includes important dates for B.Tech and integrated law admissions. Candidates are advised to complete all application and preference-filling formalities within the prescribed deadlines to participate in the upcoming seat allocation rounds.
DU One-Year PG Admission 2026 Registration
Delhi University has launched admissions for its one-year postgraduate programmes, introduced under the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) 2022 aligned with NEP 2020. These programmes are available only for students who have completed a four-year undergraduate degree from Delhi University under UGCF 2022. Admissions will be granted on the basis of the merit secured in the four-year bachelor's programme, without requiring CUET PG scores for eligible candidates. In addition, applications have also opened for the M.Sc. in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (PMBB). Admission to this programme will be based on GAT-B 2026 merit.
DU UG Admission 2026: CSAS Preference Filling Deadline
Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programmes through CUET UG 2026 must complete their programme and college preference filling under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) before July 11, 2026. According to the university, more than 1.48 lakh applications have been received for undergraduate admissions, while over 62,000 candidates have already completed Phase II of the admission process. DU is offering 73 undergraduate programmes along with 150 BA programme combinations for the current admission cycle.
