DSSSB PRT Exam Date 2026 Announced, Schedule & Shift Timings

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released the PRT Exam Date 2026 for Primary Assistant Teacher recruitment. The exam will be conducted on various dates in February and March 2026 across three daily shifts. Admit cards for the examination have already been issued on the official portal.

DSSSB PRT Exam Date 2026 Announced, Schedule & Shift Timings

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has officially announced the PRT Exam Date 2026 for the Primary Assistant Teacher (Post Code 802/25) recruitment. The Primary Teacher examination will be conducted on multiple dates in February and March 2026 as per the official exam calendar released by DSSSB

 

DSSSB PRT 2026 Exam Schedule and Dates

According to the official DSSSB Exam Calendar 2026, the Primary Teacher test will be held on the following dates:

  • February: 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 24, 2026
  • March: 03, 05, 06 and 08, 2026

Candidates should refer to their individual admit cards to confirm the exact date and shift for their exam session.

 

Exam Timing and Shift Details

The DSSSB PRT exam will be conducted in three shifts each day as per the official schedule:

  • Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Candidates must reach the exam centre well before their designated reporting time and carry all required documents without fail.

 

DSSSB PRT Admit Card and Entry Requirements

The DSSSB PRT Admit Card 2026 was released earlier in February 2026. Applicants registered for the Primary Teacher recruitment can download their hall tickets from the official DSSSB website. The admit card includes key information such as exam date, shift timing, centre venue, reporting time, and candidate details. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the PRT admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre, as no entry will be allowed without these documents.

 

Minimum Qualifying Marks and Exam Pattern

As per official DSSSB notifications, minimum qualifying marks for the Primary Teacher (PRT) exam are set category‑wise:

  • General / EWS: 40%
  • OBC (Delhi): 35%
  • SC / ST / PH (PwBD): 30%
  • Ex‑Servicemen: 30%

The primary examination is conducted in computer‑based test (CBT) mode, covering subjects relevant to teaching aptitude and general ability.
