The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala has started the Kerala Plus Two Examination 2026 from 06 March 2026. The Class 12 board examinations will continue until 28 March 2026 across various centres in Kerala and other designated locations. More than 4.5 lakh students are appearing for the higher secondary public examination this year, making it one of the largest school-level examinations conducted in the state.

 

Kerala Plus Two Exam 2026 Schedule and Duration

The Kerala Class 12 board exams are being conducted in offline mode as per the schedule released by the education authority. The timetable includes subject-wise exam dates spread across March 2026. Students appearing for the examination can review the major schedule highlights below.

The examination for most subjects is scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM and conclude around 12:15 PM, depending on the subject and duration of the paper.

 

Number of Students and Examination Centres

The Kerala Plus Two board examination sees participation from a large number of students each year across the state. Key participation details for the Plus Two Exam 2026 are outlined below:

  • Total students appearing: approximately 4,52,000+
  • Exam centres in Kerala: nearly 1,980+ centres
  • Students appearing from Lakshadweep: several hundred candidates across multiple centres

Kerala Plus Two Evaluation and Result Timeline

After the completion of the examination, the board will begin the process of evaluating answer scripts at designated centres. Important post-exam activities expected after the exams include the following stages:

  • Answer sheet evaluation: expected from early April 2026
  • Compilation of marks and verification: mid-April 2026
  • Expected result announcement: May 2026

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education conducts evaluation through dedicated camps to ensure timely publication of results.
