- Category One: Students with family income less than ₹4,00,000 are eligible for a 100% fee waiver.
- Category Two: Students with family income between ₹4,00,001 and ₹8,00,000 can receive up to 50% financial assistance.

Eligibility Criteria for DU Financial Support Scheme 2025
The scheme is open to full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students enrolled in DU departments, institutes, or centres. Students must have a family income up to ₹8 Lakh to qualify. However, certain students are not eligible for financial assistance:
- BTech students and five-year integrated law programme students
- Students enrolled in SOL and NCWEB programmes
- Students in constituent colleges of the University of Delhi with Essential Repeat (ER) in previous exams
