The mop-up counselling process will include several stages, like choice-filling, result publication, allotment order download, and document verification. The full schedule is given below.

Candidates must complete each step within the specified deadlines. Delays in login, choice submission, or document verification may result in disqualification from this final round.

Who Is Eligible for DCECE 2025 Mop-Up Counselling?

BCECEB has set clear eligibility criteria for participation in the mop-up round. The following categories of candidates are allowed to apply:

• Those who took admission in government or private polytechnic institutes through rounds 1 or 2 and now want a seat upgrade.
• Students who did not receive any seat allotment in the first two rounds.
• Candidates whose earlier seat allotment was cancelled for any reason.
• Applicants who missed the document verification step in earlier rounds.

Students must log in using their registration number and password to access the choice-filling portal. It is recommended to select as many institutes and courses as possible to maximise admission chances in the final round.

Key Instructions for DCECE 2025 Mop-Up Counselling Participants

Students can refer to the points mentioned below, as they include the key instructions for the MOP-Up counselling participants.

• Candidates must log in at bcece.bihar.gov.in during the choice-filling window.
• The system will consider only the newly submitted preferences for seat allotment.
• Once allotted, candidates must download the allotment letter between August 14 and 17.

• Final admission will be confirmed after document verification at the allotted institute between August 16 and 17.

Since this is the last opportunity to secure a seat through DCECE 2025, candidates are advised to check all information carefully and complete each stage on time. Any mistakes in choice-filling or delay in reporting could result in the loss of admission.
