DAV Staff Recruitment 2026: Last Date, Posts and Fee

DAV Staff Recruitment 2026 registration is open for teaching and non-teaching posts in DAV schools across India. The DAV College Managing Committee (DAVCMC) started the centralised online registration on September 16, 2026. Candidates have to submit the online form as “Form Ready for Verification” by October 8, 2026.

The recruitment is being conducted for the 2027-28 academic session. The process includes online registration, document verification, CBT fee payment and a centralised Computer-Based Test (CBT). The CBT is scheduled for December 2026. Candidates who clear the CBT can later take part in the demo class and interview conducted by the concerned DAV school.

Candidates looking for DAV Teacher Recruitment 2026 should note that October 8 is the last date for the online CBT registration form. This is not the final date for every part of the recruitment process. After submitting the form, candidates have to take a printout and visit the nearest DAV Verification Centre with their original documents. Verification is scheduled from September 25 to October 16, 2026.

Candidates should not wait until the last day to complete registration because the form also has to go through verification. After a school verifies and approves the form, the candidate can pay the CBT fee online within seven days.

The DAV Staff Recruitment 2026 covers both teaching and ministerial/non-teaching posts. The official DAV recruitment portal lists PRT, TGT and PGT posts in several subjects, along with Nursery/Pre-Primary Teacher and Counsellor/Wellness Teacher posts.

DAV Staff Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

The DAV Staff Recruitment 2026 CBT fee is Rs 300. However, candidates do not pay this fee immediately when they first fill the online form.

First, the candidate submits the form for verification. After the DAV Verification Centre checks the documents and approves the form, the payment option is activated. The candidate then has to pay the Rs 300 CBT fee within seven days of approval. Only candidates who complete the fee payment can appear for the CBT.

What Happens After DAV Staff Recruitment 2026 Registration?

After verification and fee payment, DAVCMC will process the applications and prepare the CBT schedule. Candidates will be able to give their exam-centre preference online in November, after which the admit cards will be issued.

The DAV Staff CBT 2026 is scheduled for December. Candidates who qualify will receive a Provisional Eligibility Card. After that, individual DAV schools or zones can advertise their vacancies and conduct the demo class and interview for shortlisted candidates. This means that clearing the CBT does not directly give a candidate a job. The final selection also depends on the demo class and interview conducted by the concerned school.
