While launching the admission portal, Vice-Chancellor Tankeshwar Kumar said that CUH is enhancing its academic framework with a stronger emphasis on research, innovation, and skill-based learning. He noted that the Ph.D. programme aligns with national goals set under the education policy. Registrar Suneel Kumar confirmed that the exemption list for eligible candidates will be published on January 2. He added that detailed guidelines and departmental requirements have been provided online for easy access.

During the announcement, Pro-Vice Chancellor Pawan Kumar Sharma, Dean Research Neelam Sangwan, and Dean Academic Pawan Kumar Maurya spoke about the increasing demand for research-driven programmes.
