NTA will close the CUET UG 2026 subject correction window today, April 19, 2026, at 11:50 PM. Registered candidates can edit their selected subjects online at cuet.nta.nic.in before the final deadline.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the CUET UG 2026 subject correction window for registered candidates. Applicants who have already completed the application process can now modify their selected subjects through the official website cuet.nta.nic.in. This final correction facility was provided after multiple student requests and will close today, April 19, 2026, at 11:50 PM. No further chance for subject correction will be provided after the deadline.

 

CUET UG 2026 Subject Correction Date and Latest Update

As per the latest notification, the subject correction window remained open from April 17 to April 19, 2026. Only candidates who successfully registered and paid the application fee are allowed to make changes. Students are advised to carefully review and finalise their selected subjects based on university eligibility criteria before submitting the corrected form.

Candidates can complete the subject correction process through:

  • cuet.nta.nic.in

To access the edit window, students will need:

  • Application Number
  • Password
  • Security Pin (if required)

Candidates should verify all changes before final submission, as the form may get locked after submission.

 

What Can Be Edited in CUET UG 2026?

Candidates can make changes in:

  • Selected subjects
  • Exam city preference
  • Class 10 details
  • Class 12 details
  • Category
  • Sub-category / PwD details
  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Father’s name
  • Mother’s name

However, some details like candidate name, gender, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID cannot be changed.

 

Subject Selection Rules for CUET UG 2026

Candidates can choose a maximum of five subjects, including:

  • Languages
  • Domain-specific subjects
  • General Aptitude Test

The CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in CBT mode for 37 subjects, including 13 languages, 23 domain subjects, and 1 General Aptitude Test paper. Each paper will have a duration of 60 minutes.

 

How to Edit CUET UG Subject Selection 2026?

  • Visit the official website cuet.nta.nic.in
  • Login using application number and password
  • Click on the “Correction Window” link
  • Select and update the required subjects
  • Review the modified details carefully
  • Pay additional fee if applicable
  • Submit and download the confirmation page

Candidates should keep a copy of the corrected application form for future reference.
