The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the CUET UG 2026 registration deadline to 4 February 2026, with the last date for fee payment on 7 February 2026. A correction window is scheduled from 9–11 February 2026 for candidates to amend application details. Applicants should use the official portal cuet.nta.nic.in for all formalities.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced updates to the CUET UG 2026 registration timeline, offering students more time to complete their online applications for the Common University Entrance Test (UG). The changes include a deadline extension as well as a correction facility for submitted application forms.
Revised Registration Deadline for CUET UG 2026
The NTA has extended the last date to apply for CUET UG 2026 to 4 February 2026. This extension gives candidates additional time to register and submit their applications at the official portal cuet.nta.nic.in, after the earlier deadline of 30 January 2026.
Candidates must also ensure their application fee is paid by 7 February 2026 to avoid incomplete submissions that could lead to disqualification. After this date, the registration window will close and no new applications will be accepted.
CUET UG 2026 Application Correction Window: 9–11 February 2026
Once registration and fee payment are completed, the NTA will open a correction window from 9 to 11 February 2026. During this period, applicants who have already submitted their CUET UG forms can edit permitted fields in the application to correct any mistakes before the form is finalised. It’s important for candidates to review their forms carefully, as certain details listed in the application may only be edited during the official correction window and may not be changed afterward.
CUET UG 2026 Exam Timeline
The CUET UG 2026 examination is tentatively scheduled to be conducted from 11 May to 31 May 2026 in computer‑based mode at multiple centres across India and abroad. Students must complete their registration, fee payment, and any corrections before the announced deadlines to be eligible to appear in the exam.
How to Apply and Edit CUET UG Form?
To register for CUET UG 2026 and access the correction window:
- Visit the official portal cuet.nta.nic.in.
- Complete the CUET UG 2026 application form with accurate personal, academic, and subject preferences.
- Upload required documents including photograph and signature.
- Pay the application fee online before 7 February 2026.
- During the correction window (9–11 February), log in to update permissible fields if needed.
Applicants should not delay submissions until the last minute to avoid server congestion or technical issues near deadlines.
