With the deadline approaching, expectations of a possible extension have emerged, though no official announcement has been made so far.

The Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate admissions began on 3 January 2026. As per the current schedule, candidates must complete the application process within the prescribed timeline to remain eligible for the examination.
- Last date to submit application form: 30 January 2026 (11:50 PM)
- Last date for fee payment: 31 January 2026 (11:50 PM)

Candidates are advised not to rely on extension expectations and to complete the process before the deadline.
Possibility of CUET UG 2026 Registration Extension
In previous admission cycles, the National Testing Agency has extended CUET registration deadlines due to technical issues, high applicant volume, and requests from students and academic stakeholders. These extensions have ranged from a few days to nearly a week. Based on past trends, an extension for CUET UG 2026 is being anticipated by candidates. However, no official confirmation regarding a deadline extension has been issued yet.
What Candidates Should Do Before the Deadline?
Until a formal notice is released, candidates must proceed according to the existing schedule. Completing the application on time helps avoid last-minute technical difficulties and submission errors. Applicants should carefully review personal details, subject selections, and preferred examination cities before final submission. After successful registration, downloading and saving the confirmation page is essential for future reference. Candidates are advised to monitor official notifications closely for any updates related to CUET UG 2026 registration deadlines or schedule changes.
