The NTA originally began the CUET UG 2026 application process on 03 January 2026, inviting eligible 10+2 pass/appearing students to register for the undergraduate entrance exam used for admissions into central, state and private universities. After initial deadlines approached, the agency extended the last date to apply until 11:50 pm on 04 February 2026 to accommodate more applicants. The extension follows strong response and feedback from candidates, ensuring that those facing issues with form filing or fee payment have sufficient time to complete their applications.

Fee Payment and Correction Window Schedule

Candidates must ensure successful payment of the application fee by 11:50 pm on 07 February 2026. Fees can be paid via online modes including credit/debit cards, net banking and UPI, with charges dependent on the number of subjects selected and the candidate’s category. Following the registration and fee deadlines, NTA will open the application correction window from 09 to 11 February 2026, allowing candidates to make necessary edits to their submitted forms. Common fields editable during this window typically include basic details and key educational information, subject to NTA guidelines.
