Candidates appearing on May 30, 2026 are required to carefully check their admit card, reporting schedule and allotted subject timings before reaching the examination centre.

 

CUET UG 2026 May 30 Shift Timings

The CUET UG 2026 May 30 examination is being held in multiple slots depending on subject combinations and centre allocation. Candidates should follow the timings mentioned on their admit cards and arrive early for verification and frisking.

 

The NTA has advised candidates to report two hours before commencement. Entry gates close around 30 minutes before the exam, and candidates arriving late are generally not permitted.  

 

Technical Glitch & Shift Timing Revision

The National Testing Agency (NTA) reported a technical glitch by its technology partner, TCS, which temporarily delayed the start of the CUET UG 2026 exam at select centers during the morning session on May 30, 2026. To accommodate candidates, the NTA immediately resolved the issue, guaranteed full compensatory time to affected students, and revised the afternoon (Shift 2) start time to 4:00 PM (with reporting beginning at 2:30 PM).

 

CUET UG 2026 Dress Code and Exam Day Guidelines

The CUET UG 2026 dress code aims to ensure smooth frisking and security checks at exam centres. Candidates should follow these instructions carefully before leaving for the centre. The following dress rules have been prescribed for hassle-free entry.

 

Recommended Dress Code

  • Wear light and simple clothes
  • Prefer half-sleeve shirts or T-shirts
  • Use slippers or sandals
  • Religious attire may be allowed with additional checking

Avoid Wearing

  • Heavy jewellery
  • Watches and metallic accessories
  • Jackets or layered clothing
  • Belts and large accessories
  • Shoes with thick soles or heels

Candidates should carry only permitted items to avoid delays during security checks.

 

CUET UG 2026 Mandatory Documents and Permitted Items

Candidates should keep all required documents ready before reaching the exam venue. The following items are generally permitted inside the examination centre.

  • Printed CUET UG 2026 Admit Card
  • Original Photo ID
  • Passport-size photographs
  • Transparent water bottle
  • Transparent black or ball-point pen

Electronic gadgets, calculators, Bluetooth devices, notes and study material remain prohibited.

 

CUET UG 2026 May 30 Expected Paper Analysis

The CUET UG 2026 May 30 paper analysis is expected to become available after completion of each shift. Early feedback trends generally focus on:
