Candidates must fulfil the following criteria to apply for CUET UG 2026:
- Must have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination, or be appearing in 2026.
- There is no age limit for CUET UG; however, applicants must satisfy the age requirement of the desired university.
Qualifying Examinations include
- Final examination of Class 12th conducted by Central/State boards
- Intermediate or two-year pre-university examination
- Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of NDA
- Senior Secondary School Examination by NIOS
- Any Public School/Board/University examination recognised by AIU
- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination
- Diploma recognised by AICTE or a State Board
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) examination
- High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
