Things to carry at CUET UG 2026 exam centre are clearly defined by the National Testing Agency, which conducts the Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate admissions. The computer-based test will be conducted between 11 May 2026 and 31 May 2026 at centres across India. Candidates must comply with all exam-day rules to avoid denial of entry or cancellation of candidature.

 

Things to Carry at CUET UG Exam Centre 2026

Candidates are required to bring specific documents and essential items for identity verification and examination purposes. Entry to the exam hall is permitted only after successful verification. The following items must be carried to the exam centre:

  • Printed CUET UG 2026 Admit Card with self-declaration, downloaded on A4-size paper
  • One passport-size photograph, same as uploaded in the application form
  • Valid original photo ID proof, such as Aadhaar card, passport, PAN card, school ID, or Class 12 board admit card
  • Transparent ballpoint pen for rough work and verification formalities
  • PwD/PwBD certificate (if applicable), issued by a competent authority
  • Sugar tablets or fruits like banana or apple for diabetic candidates, as permitted by guidelines

Candidates must ensure that all documents are original, valid, and clearly legible.

 

Barred Items at CUET UG 2026 Exam Centre

The testing authority has strictly prohibited several items to ensure fair conduct of the examination. Carrying any restricted item may result in immediate disqualification. Candidates must not carry:

  • Mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, or pagers
  • Calculators, log tables, pen drives, electronic pens, scanners, or cameras
  • Wallets, handbags, belts, caps, goggles, jewellery, or metallic items
  • Textual or printed material, notes, paper chits, geometry boxes, or plastic pouches
  • Packed or open food items and water bottles

Only items explicitly permitted in the instructions are allowed inside the exam hall.

 

CUET UG 2026 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates must follow exam-day guidelines to ensure a smooth testing experience. Reporting late or violating instructions may lead to cancellation of candidature. Key instructions include:

  • Report to the exam centre at least two hours before the scheduled exam time
  • Sit only on the seat allotted as per the roll number
  • Verify subject details displayed on the computer screen and inform invigilators of discrepancies immediately
  • Use only rough sheets provided at the centre and submit them after the exam
  • Do not leave the examination hall without permission

 

CUET UG 2026 Admit Card Release

The CUET UG 2026 admit card will be issued two to three days before the examination in a phase-wise manner. Candidates must download it using their application number and password and preserve copies for counselling and admission processes.
