The Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) is the primary entrance exam for admission to undergraduate science programmes across central, state, deemed and private universities in India. Science students appearing for CUET must prepare thoroughly as the syllabus is largely based on Class 12 NCERT curriculum. Understanding the subject-wise CUET syllabus is essential for targeted preparation and scoring high ranks.

CUET Syllabus for Science Students 2026: Physics, Chemistry, Maths

CUET-UG generally consists of the following sections:

  • Section IA / IB: Languages
  • Section II: Domain-specific subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, etc.)
  • Section III: General Test (optional for some universities)

Science aspirants mainly focus on Section II (Domain Subjects).
