CUET PG 2026 Exam City Choice Increased to Four: NTA Update

The National Testing Agency has expanded the exam city selection options for CUET PG 2026, allowing candidates to choose four preferred cities instead of two. The update was confirmed through an official notification issued to improve logistical flexibility for applicants. The change applies to both new registrations and already submitted application forms. Applicants who have completed registration earlier will be permitted to update their exam city preferences during the correction window. The agency clarified that the revision has been introduced to reduce travel-related inconvenience and manage centre allocation more efficiently.

CUET PG 2026 Exam City Selection Rule Explained by NTA

Under the revised guidelines, candidates can now select up to four examination cities within the state of their permanent or present address. The selection must follow the order of preference, and final allotment will depend on availability at the chosen locations. NTA stated that the additional city options are intended to offer better flexibility, especially for candidates residing in districts with limited examination centres. Apart from the increase in city choices, no other changes have been introduced in the application process or eligibility criteria.
