What Can Be Edited During CUET PG 2026 Correction?

During the application correction window, candidates can modify specific fields to ensure accuracy. These include:

  • Personal details: Candidate name, father’s name or mother’s name, date of birth, gender, category/subcategory or PwBD status.
  • Examination preferences: Examination centre city, additional city preferences, test paper code and subject/course choices.
  • Identity information: Candidates may update Aadhar information if initially registered with alternative identity documents.

However, certain fields cannot be edited in the correction window, such as the mobile number, email address, permanent and present address, photograph, and signature.

 

Eligibility to Access the Correction Facility

Only candidates who submitted the CUET PG 2026 application form and paid the requisite fee on or before the registration deadline are eligible to use the correction facility. Those who applied late or completed the payment after the cutoff may not be able to update their details.

 

How to Use the CUET PG Correction Window?

To make corrections, candidates should visit the NTA CUET PG portal and follow the steps to log in and access the correction link:

  1. Visit the CUET PG 2026 official portal at exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG.
  2. Click on the Correction Window link for CUET PG.
  3. Enter the application number and date of birth to log in.
  4. Update the permitted details carefully.
  5. Save changes and submit the corrected application before the deadline.

Any additional fees, if applicable for changes such as adding examination cities or test papers, must be paid online through debit/credit card, net banking or UPI during the correction process.

 

After the Correction Window: Next Steps

After the correction window closes on 30 January 2026, no further edits will be allowed. The NTA will use the final corrected details to generate CUET PG 2026 admit cards and city intimation slips, which are expected to be released closer to the exam date in March 2026.
