The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CUET PG 2026 city intimation slip for candidates scheduled to appear in the postgraduate entrance test starting 6 March 2026. Aspirants can now download the slip from the official portal to check allotted exam city and shift details using their login credentials. The admit card will be issued separately, typically a few days before individual exam dates.
The Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate Courses (CUET PG 2026) is set to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) between 6 March and 27 March 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple shifts. One of the most important preliminary steps — the city intimation slip — has now been released by the NTA on the official portal exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG. Candidates can download this slip to find the city where their exam centre will be located, which helps with travel planning and logistics for the entrance test.
What Is the CUET PG City Intimation Slip?
The city intimation slip is an advance notice issued by NTA before the official admit card. It does not serve as the hall ticket but informs candidates about:
- The exam city and state allotted
- The exam date(s) and shift timing
- Candidate details like name and application number
Aspirants must save this slip and use it when the admit card is released to confirm their complete test centre address and exam instructions.
How to Download the CUET PG 2026 City Intimation Slip?
To download the slip:
- Visit the official NTA CUET PG website: exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG.
- Click on the city intimation slip download link.
- Enter your application number and password/date of birth.
- View and save the PDF for future reference.
After downloading, candidates should take multiple printouts and store them safely.
CUET PG 2026 Admit Card: What’s Next?
The CUET PG admit card (hall ticket) will be issued separately on the official NTA portal, usually 3–4 days before the specific exam date for your subject. The admit card contains detailed information such as:
- The exact exam centre address
- Reporting time and shift details
- Instructions for exam day
- Candidate’s photograph and signature
Candidates must carry the printed admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (like Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID) to the exam centre — without these, entry will be denied.
CUET PG 2026 Exam Dates & Schedule
The CUET PG 2026 exam window will run from 6 March to 27 March 2026, covering various subjects and shifts over this period. Candidates need to check their individual subject date and timing once the official schedule is published on exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG.
CUET PG 2026 Important Points for Aspirants
- The city intimation slip is not a hall ticket, but it helps confirm the exam city ahead of time.
- Admit cards will follow — download them as soon as they are available.
- Candidates appearing for multiple subjects must note the different exam dates and shifts for each.
- Keep login credentials handy to avoid delays in downloading essential documents.
The release of the CUET PG 2026 city intimation slip marks an important step for candidates preparing for postgraduate admissions in central and participating universities nationwide.
