CTET February 2026 Notification Soon: Dates, Eligibility, Fees

The Central Board of Secondary Education is set to release the CTET February 2026 notification soon on ctet.nic.in. The February session will mark the first CTET cycle of the year and will outline key details on application dates, eligibility, fee structure, and exam-day instructions. The CTET Exam Date has already been fixed for February 8, 2026. The test will be held in two shifts, with Paper I in the morning and Paper II in the afternoon. Once the notification is uploaded, candidates will be able to apply through the official online form and complete the required fee payment. CBSE conducts CTET twice a year to assess teaching eligibility for Classes 1 to 8 across central schools, state schools accepting CTET, and several private institutions. The February 2026 session is expected to follow the same pattern as earlier cycles, with MCQs, no negative marking, and a structured syllabus focusing on pedagogy and subject understanding.

CTET February 2026 Exam Schedule & Key Dates

The table below lists the expected timeline for the February session. All dates will be confirmed once CBSE publishes the official notice.

CTET 2026 Eligibility & Fee Structure

The CTET eligibility rules are likely to remain the same as previous years. The details below summarise the expected criteria and fees for both papers.

The notification will also provide instructions on document formats, photo size, signature upload rules, and guidelines for choosing exam centres. CBSE is expected to activate the application link on the homepage, followed by the confirmation page download facility and fee verification system. The February session plays a key role for candidates planning to appear early in the recruitment cycle. The CTET certificate carries lifetime validity, making it a crucial requirement for teaching positions in central and state-supported schools. CBSE will publish all updates only on ctet.nic.in. Aspirants should avoid unofficial posts circulating on social media and verify every detail from the official website.
