The Central Board of Secondary Education is preparing to announce the CTET February 2026 notification, which will outline eligibility norms, exam patterns, application guidelines, and fee details. The CTET exam is an important qualification for teacher recruitment across central and state government schools, and the upcoming session has gained attention due to the early exam schedule. The CTET February 2026 exam has been fixed for February 8, 2026, and will be conducted in two shifts. Paper one will assess candidates for primary-level teaching roles, while Paper two will evaluate applicants for upper primary positions. The detailed notification will provide the complete schedule for registration and fee submission.
CTET 2026 Exam Date and Structure for February Session
CBSE conducts CTET twice a year to assess teaching eligibility for Classes one to eight. The February session will again follow a two-paper format. The test plays a significant role in recruitment for Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and several state-run and private institutions that accept CTET scores. The CTET exam structure helps applicants plan preparation based on the specific requirements of primary and upper primary levels. Paper one evaluates child development, language proficiency, mathematics, and environmental studies. Paper two assesses child development, languages, mathematics and science, or social studies. While the detailed pattern will be confirmed in the notification, the standard framework remains consistent every year.
