CTET Feb 2026: CBSE Opens One-Time Application Completion Window

The Central Board of Secondary Education has opened a one-time application completion window for CTET February 2026. The facility is meant for candidates who initiated the registration process but could not complete final submission during the regular application period. The special window will be available from December 27 to December 30, 2025.

 

CTET February 2026 Registration Statistics

According to the official press release, the CTET February 2026 online application process was conducted from November 27 to December 18, 2025. During this period, a total of 25,30,581 candidates successfully submitted their applications. CBSE data further shows that 3,53,218 applications were submitted on the second last day, while 4,14,981 candidates completed registration on the final day.

 

Over 1.61 Lakh CTET Registrations Found Incomplete

After the application window closed, CBSE received multiple grievances from candidates who were unable to complete the submission process. A review of the application database revealed that 1,61,127 registrations remained incomplete and were not converted into final applications. Considering that CTET is being conducted after a gap of nearly 1 year, the Board stated that a sympathetic view was taken in the interest of candidates.

 

CTET 2026 One-Time Completion Window Dates and Timings

CBSE has allowed eligible candidates a final opportunity to complete their applications through a one-time facility. The window will be open during the following period:

  • Start date: December 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM
  • Last date: December 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM

Only candidates who had already initiated the CTET February 2026 registration process will be able to access this facility.

 

No Fresh Registrations or Further Corrections Allowe

CBSE has clearly stated that no fresh registrations will be accepted during the one-time window. Candidates must carefully verify all details and complete the submission within the given timeline. The Board has also clarified that no further opportunity for correction or completion will be provided after this window closes.
