CTET 2026 Notification Soon: February Exam Date & Registration Details

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 notification is expected to be released soon by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). According to official updates, the CTET February 2026 examination will be conducted on February 8, 2026, across multiple test centers in India. Once released, the CTET 2026 Notification PDF and registration link will be made available on the official website — ctet.nic.in.

 

CTET 2026 Application Form to Begin in November

As per sources, the CTET 2026 Registration Window will open in November 2025. Candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to VIII in central or state-affiliated schools will be required to submit the CTET application form 2026 within the prescribed dates. Applicants must upload valid documents, photographs, and signatures in the specified format and pay the examination fee online to complete their registration.

CTET February 2026: Eligibility and Exam Details

The CTET examination comprises Paper I and Paper II, designed to assess teaching aptitude and subject knowledge.

  • Paper I is for candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to V.
  • Paper II is for those aiming to teach Classes VI to VIII.

To be eligible, candidates must hold a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. qualification with at least 50% marks in their respective programs. The examination will be conducted in offline mode (OMR-based) and include 150 multiple-choice questions in each paper, carrying one mark each. There is no negative marking for incorrect responses.
