CSIR NET Application form is expected to be released by NTA soon in June 2025. Based on previous years, the fee is anticipated to be INR 1,100 for General category, INR 550 for EWS and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, and INR 275 for SC, ST, PwD, and Third Gender applicants.Although the official timeline has not been announced, the application window is expected to open soon. The process will be followed by the release of admit cards and then the exam, which is generally scheduled for June. Submitting the CSIR NET 2025 application form is mandatory to receive the admit card and appear for the examination.
Documents Needed to Apply for CSIR NET 2025
Before starting the CSIR NET 2025 application process, candidates should have the following documents ready:
- Recent passport-sized photograph with a white background
- Scanned copy of the signature
- Mark sheets and certificates from Class 10 and 12
- Mark sheets and qualifying degree or provisional certificate, as applicable
- Category certificate (if applicable for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD)
- Valid government-issued ID proof (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)
- Domicile certificate (if applying under a reserved category based on domicile)
- Experience certificate (if relevant)
Eligibility Criteria for CSIR NET June 2025 Exam
Candidates interested in appearing for the CSIR NET 2025 exam should possess an M.Sc. or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved category candidates). For the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the maximum age limit is 28 years, whereas there is no age restriction for eligibility for Lectureship or Assistant Professorship.
CSIR NET 2025: Admit Card
The CSIR NET 2025 admit card will be released online by the authorities. It can be downloaded from the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in. Only candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms will be eligible to download the CSIR UGC NET admit card 2025.
The admit card includes essential information such as the exam date, exam center, candidate details, and important instructions. It is mandatory to carry the CSIR NET admit card 2025 on the day of the exam.
