The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CSIR NET cutoff 2025 for the June session along with the scorecard. The cutoff has been declared for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor, and admission to PhD across different categories. Candidates can check the subject-wise and category-wise cutoff online at csirnet.nta.ac.in. According to NTA, a total of 1,95,241 candidates registered, out of which 1,47,732 appeared for the June session exam.
CSIR NET Cut Off 2025 for Junior Research Fellowship (Category 1)
The highest cutoff for JRF is recorded in Earth Sciences (UR category) at 61.29%.
CSIR NET Cut Off 2025 for Assistant Professor (Category 2)
For Assistant Professor, the highest cutoff is also in Earth Sciences (UR category) at 55.16%.
CSIR NET Cut Off 2025 for PhD Admission (Category 3)
For PhD admissions, Earth Sciences (UR) again recorded the highest cutoff at 45.31%.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- General category: 33%
- EWS, OBC, SC, ST, PwD: 25%
Candidates must secure the above minimum percentage along with subject-wise cutoff to qualify.
