The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released a revised list of 181 exam cities for the UGET 2026 entrance test, with 18 cities removed from the previous list. COMEDK UGET 2026 Revised Exam Cities List: 181 Centres Announced

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has issued a revised list of exam cities where the COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026 will be conducted. The updated list includes 181 cities across India, and candidates must review it ahead of the registration process starting on 03 February 2026 This revision follows earlier announcements and ensures that students can select their preferred exam city from the available options during the application process. A total of 18 cities that were previously part of the test centre list have been dropped this year.

 

State-Wise Spread of COMEDK UGET 2026 Exam Centres

The 2026 exam centre list covers test centres in 25 states and Union Territories nationwide, with Karnataka featuring the most locations, particularly around major cities such as Bengaluru, Mysuru and Mangaluru.

 

Key states and representative cities in the list include:

  • Karnataka: Bengaluru (multiple zones), Mysuru, Mangaluru, Hubballi, Dharwad and more
  • Andhra Pradesh: Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati
  • Telangana: Hyderabad, Warangal
  • Maharashtra: Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur
  • Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai
  • Uttar Pradesh: Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi
  • West Bengal: Kolkata, Siliguri
  • Delhi: New Delhi

Candidates are advised to check their preferred city’s availability and proximity before finalising choices during the registration window.

 

Cities Dropped From COMEDK UGET 2026 List

Compared with the previous year’s test centres, authorities have removed 18 cities from the COMEDK UGET 2026 exam list. These dropped locations span several states and include some tier-II test cities that were available earlier. Candidates who expected centres in these locations should update their preferences accordingly to avoid issues during city-allotment.

 

Choosing Exam Cities During Registration

When filling out the COMEDK UGET 2026 application form, candidates will be able to select up to three exam cities in order of preference from the revised list. Centre allocation is then done based on:

  • Candidate preferences
  • Availability of seats in each city
  • Computer-based randomised allotment

Once an exam city is allotted, changes are generally not permitted, so aspirants should choose carefully to avoid travel or logistical difficulties. The final centre details will be mentioned on the COMEDK UGET 2026 admit card.
