COMEDK UGET 2026 registration will close on 16 March 2026 on the official website. Several candidates have reported OTP verification errors while completing the application process. The authority will conduct the COMEDK UGET 2026 exam on 9 May 2026 for engineering admissions.
COMEDK Registration 2026 is currently underway on the official website comedk.org, and the application window will close on 16 March 2026. The registration process is being conducted for the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET 2026).
However, several candidates attempting to complete the registration process have reported a technical issue related to OTP verification on the application portal. With the registration deadline approaching, applicants have expressed concern that the glitch could prevent them from successfully submitting their application forms.
COMEDK 2026 Registration Portal OTP Error Explained
Candidates attempting to register on the COMEDK portal have reported receiving an error message during the OTP verification stage of the application process. After entering their mobile number, the portal displays the message: “tried to validate OTP for which the OTP is not generated in this current session.” Due to this issue, some applicants are unable to proceed with the registration process, which prevents them from completing the application form submission and fee payment steps. Many candidates believe the issue originates from the registration portal rather than their own devices or internet connection.
Steps to Resolve COMEDK Registration OTP Issue
While the issue appears to be related to the portal, candidates experiencing the problem are advised to try several troubleshooting methods before attempting registration again. Applicants can follow the steps below to resolve the login error:
- Refresh the registration page and try again after some time
- Clear browser cache and cookies before reopening the portal
- Use a different browser or device to access the application form
- Ensure stable internet connectivity before requesting a new OTP
If the problem persists, candidates are advised to contact the COMEDK helpdesk for assistance.
- Helpline Number: 080-69796266
- Email: studenthelpdesk@comedk.org
The helpdesk can assist applicants in resolving technical issues related to the registration portal.

Candidates who successfully complete the registration process will be able to download the COMEDK 2026 admit card from 29 April 2026 through the candidate login available on the official website comedk.org.
