The Council of Higher Secondary Education (COHSE), Manipur has officially released the board exam schedule for Class 11 and Class 12 for the 2026 academic session. As per the notification, Class 11 examinations will begin from 16-02-2026, while Class 12 examinations will commence from 17-02-2026. The announcement has brought much-needed clarity for students preparing for the upcoming annual examinations. The board has also confirmed that Class 12 practical examinations will be conducted from 02-01-2026 to 31-01-2026. Institutions with less than 10 registered candidates will be attached to designated centers as arranged by the council to ensure smooth conduct of exams.

The council has issued strict academic instructions to schools regarding practical examinations and submission of internal assessment marks. After the completion of practical exams, institutions must upload students’ practical scores within the prescribed timeline to avoid discrepancies during result preparation. Schools are required to upload practical marks on the official portal between 03-01-2026 and 02-02-2026, using secure institutional login credentials. The final deadline for marks submission is fixed as 03-02-2026, and no extensions are expected beyond this date.
COHSE Manipur Class 12 Board Exam Schedule 2026
Before reviewing the detailed exam schedule, students should note that the COHSE Class 12 board examinations will be conducted in a single shift from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM across all examination centres. The subject-wise timetable helps students plan revision cycles and manage remaining preparation time effectively. The schedule is spread across multiple weeks to ensure appropriate study gaps between core subjects.

In the 2024 academic session, the overall pass percentage stood at 94 percent, indicating consistent board performance. Girls secured top positions across Science, Arts, and Commerce streams. The pass percentage for government institutions was recorded at 89.95 percent, while non-government institutions achieved 95.66 percent. Top scorers included 490 marks in Science, 479 marks in Arts, and 463 marks in Commerce, reflecting competitive academic outcomes across streams. These trends continue to influence expectations for the 2026 examination cycle.
