CMAT Registration 2026 Ongoing: Eligibility, Steps to Apply, Documents

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially started the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026 registration process. Applications opened on October 17, 2025, and will remain active until November 17, 2025. Candidates interested in pursuing MBA and management programs across AICTE-approved institutions can apply through the official portal, cmat.nta.nic.in. NTA has also scheduled the last date for fee payment through SBI or Canara Bank Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, or UPI as November 18, 2025. A correction window will open from November 20 to November 22, 2025, allowing candidates to make necessary modifications to their application forms.

 

CMAT 2026 Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay the application fee as per their category. The fee details are as follows:

Payment can be made through multiple modes including debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

 

CMAT 2026 Registration Process

The CMAT 2026 application process is completely online. Candidates must follow these steps to complete their registration:

  1. Visit the official website — cmat.nta.nic.in
  2. Click on the “Registration Link for CMAT 2026”
  3. Select “New Registration” and enter personal details to create a login ID
  4. Use the credentials sent via email to log in
  5. Fill in academic and communication details
  6. Select four preferred cities for the exam centre
  7. Upload recent photograph and signature
  8. Pay the application fee and submit the form

NTA advises candidates to download and keep a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

 

Documents Required for CMAT 2026 Application

Before filling the form, candidates must keep the following documents ready to ensure smooth registration:

  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
  • Graduation mark sheet (if available)
  • Address proof
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

 

CMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must review the eligibility norms before applying.

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Final-year students whose results will be declared before the 2026–27 academic session are eligible.
  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • There is no upper age limit for CMAT 2026.

 

CMAT 2026 Exam Date

The CMAT 2026 exam date will be announced shortly on the official website. It is expected to be conducted in January 2026 across various exam centres in India. The test will assess candidates in Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
