The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the official answer key and response sheet for CMAT 2026 soon. Expected Release Timeline for CMAT 2026 Answer Key

Based on trends from previous years and live updates from exam portals, the CMAT 2026 provisional answer key and response sheet are likely to be released by 30 January or 31 January 2026. Once published on the official CMAT NTA portal, candidates will be able to log in using their application number and password to download the PDF containing both the response sheet and the official answer key.

Purpose and Use of the Answer Key

The answer key and response sheet will list:

• All questions asked in the exam with correct answers
• The options selected by the individual candidate
• Candidate details including roll number and exam date

With this information, candidates can calculate their tentative raw scores by assigning +4 marks for each correct answer and −1 mark for each incorrect response. Estimating scores early helps aspirants gauge their performance and assess their chances of qualifying for admissions to MBA programmes before official results are declared.

Provisional Key and Challenge Window

The NTA may first issue a provisional answer key, which candidates can challenge if they find discrepancies. A challenge window, typically lasting 2–3 days, is expected to be provided once the provisional key is released. After examining all valid objections, the NTA may publish a final answer key Challenging the provisional key usually requires submission of supporting evidence and may involve a nominal fee per question challenged, as per NTA norms.
