CLAT PG Result 2025: Check Hearing Date, Download Steps

The Delhi High Court is scheduled to hear petitions regarding the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) PG 2025 on May 2, 2025. These petitions focus on alleged inconsistencies in the CLAT PG answer key 2025 and the resulting merit list. The hearing will be conducted by a Division Bench, which includes Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela. The controversy revolves around claims of mistakes in the CLAT PG 2025 answer key, which petitioners assert resulted in inaccuracies in the outcomes.

Furthermore, there are concerns about the INR 1,000 fee for each objection, which some candidates consider to be excessive. In a notable turn of events impacting thousands of law aspirants, the Supreme Court of India has put a hold on the Delhi High Court's order for the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) to amend the CLAT-UG 2025 merit list.

CLAT PG Counselling Process 2025:

  1. Eligibility for Counselling
Only candidates who have qualified for CLAT PG 2025, with a valid score that meets the minimum cut-off set by the participating NLUs, are eligible for the counselling process.

  2. Counselling Registration
The first step in the counselling process is registration. Candidates will need to log in to the official CLAT website to register for the counselling. A one-time registration fee is required, and details of the payment will be provided by the CLAT conducting body.

  3. Choice Filling & Preferences
After successful registration, candidates must fill out their preferred NLUs and courses (LL.M.) choices. It is important to prioritize institutions carefully as this will impact seat allocation during the counselling process.

  4. Seat Allotment Process
The seat allotment will be based on candidates’ preferences, rank, and availability of seats in each NLU. Candidates who are allocated a seat will receive a provisional seat allotment letter.

  5. Document Verification
Once a seat is allotted, candidates must visit the designated verification centre to submit original documents for verification.
  6. Fee Payment & Confirmation
After document verification, candidates must pay the admission fee as per the fee structure of the respective NLU to confirm their seat. If the seat is not confirmed by the given date, the allotment may be revoked, and the candidate may lose their place.

  7. Reporting to the Allotted NLU
After successful payment, candidates need to report to the allotted NLU for final admission formalities.
