CLAT 2026 Application Deadline and Process
The CLAT 2026 registration process is entirely online. The Consortium has clearly stated that no applications will be accepted after October 31, 2025. Candidates are advised to review the eligibility criteria and keep all required documents ready before applying. Steps to Apply for CLAT 2026:

CLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Before submitting the form, applicants must ensure they meet the eligibility conditions set by the Consortium.
UG (BA LLB) Program:
- Must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board
- Minimum marks: 45% for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates
- No upper age limit
PG (LLM) Program:
- Must hold an LLB degree or equivalent from a recognised university
- Minimum marks: 50% for General/OBC/EWS and 45% for SC/ST candidates
- No age limit

CLAT 2026 Exam Date and Mode
The CLAT 2026 examination is expected to be held in the first week of December 2025. The exam will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode across various test centres. The results are expected in January 2026, followed by counselling for seat allotment in participating NLUs.
