CLAT 2026 PwD Guidelines Revised for This Year

The Consortium has introduced a significant change in the CLAT 2026 PwD Guidelines to improve accessibility and fairness for candidates with disabilities. The revised rules will benefit eligible candidates by offering additional examination support. As per the latest notification:

  • Candidates with 40 percent or more disability will be considered under the PwD category.
  • An extra 20 minutes per hour will be provided as compensatory time.
  • Scribes and assistive devices will be allowed as per prescribed norms.

This revision is aimed at creating a more inclusive testing environment and ensuring equal opportunity during the competitive selection process.

CLAT 2026 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme Remain Unchanged

Despite the update in PwD provisions, the CLAT 2026 Exam Pattern and marking structure remain unchanged. Candidates will face the same structure followed in previous sessions. Before understanding the scoring system, it is essential for candidates to align their final mock tests with the official pattern for accurate performance analysis.
