CLAT 2026 Application Last Date Today; Register at Official Website

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will close the CLAT 2026 application window today, October 31, 2025. Candidates who have not yet registered for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 must apply at the official website — consortiumofnlus.ac.in — before the deadline. The CLAT 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 7, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM, in offline mode (pen-and-paper). The test is held for admission to undergraduate (BA LLB) and postgraduate (LLM) programmes offered by 24 participating NLUs across India.

 

CLAT 2026 Registration Live Updates

As per the Consortium’s latest notice, the application form correction and fee payment window will remain open until November 1, 2025. After this date, no modifications will be allowed. Candidates who have successfully registered can download their CLAT 2026 admit card once released in November 2025. The Consortium has advised applicants to verify their personal and educational details before submission, as incorrect information may lead to disqualification.

Candidates can follow the step-by-step process below to complete the registration:

  2. Click on ‘Register’ under the CLAT 2026 section.
  3. Enter basic details such as mobile number, email ID, and create a password.
  4. Log in using the registered credentials.
  5. Fill in personal, academic, and communication details carefully.
  6. Upload required documents such as passport-size photograph, signature, and category certificate (if applicable).
  7. Review all details and proceed to pay the application fee.
  8. Submit the application and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Eligibility for CLAT 2026

  • UG Course (BA LLB): Candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
  • PG Course (LLM): A valid LLB degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
  • There is no upper age limit for appearing in CLAT 2026.

 

What After CLAT 2026 Registration?

Once the application window closes, the Consortium will begin the process of issuing CLAT 2026 admit cards. Candidates must ensure that the details printed on the admit card match their application form. The admit card will include details such as exam centre, reporting time, and roll number. The final selection of candidates will be based on CLAT scores, counselling participation, and document verification by the respective NLUs.
