CLAT 2026 admit card has been released by the Consortium of National Law Universities. With the exam scheduled on December 7, 2025, candidates can now download their hall tickets and check the revised PwD guidelines, exam pattern and key exam-day rules.
The hall tickets are now available on the official portal. Students appearing for CLAT 2026 must carry the admit card, a valid ID proof and follow all exam-day instructions announced by the Consortium.
CLAT 2026 Exam Date and Time Details
CLAT 2026 will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The test will be held in a single shift for both UG and PG candidates seeking admission to law programmes offered by National Law Universities.
Candidates must reach the exam centre well before reporting time to avoid last-minute issues. They must also check the address and exam-day instructions mentioned on the admit card.
CLAT 2026: Revised PwD Guidelines Announced
The Consortium has announced key amendments for PwD candidates this year. Students with over 40% disability will now be considered under the PwD category for CLAT 2026.Under the revised rules, eligible PwD candidates will receive 20 minutes of compensatory time for every hour of the exam.
This change has been introduced to ensure a smoother and more accessible examination process for students who require additional support.
CLAT 2026: What Remains the Same?
While the PwD guidelines have been updated, the main structure of the exam remains unchanged.The test will continue in offline, pen-and-paper mode, similar to previous years.The CLAT 2026 question paper will have 120 MCQs, and the marking scheme stays the same:
- +1 mark for each correct answer
- 0.25 mark deduction for each wrong answer
There is no change in the syllabus or the overall difficulty level of the exam.
